Music
is their Business
A
communications and electronics engineer, George Campbell
joined National Instruments Pty Ltd, a company manufacturing
Rowe AMI Phonographs in Australia under licence in
1961. He has maintained both his interest and involvement
in commercial music systems ever since.
Years of involvement have taken him through the whole
chain of coin-operated music from manufacture and
distribution to installation and operation throughout
Australia, particularly catering to the Hotel Industry.
After being sub-distributor of various other importers
of NSM Phonographs, George formed an alliance with
NSM in 1989 with the release of the City IV CD Combi.
The partnership has worked well. George's technical
background and industry experience combined; and to
quote George "The world's best phonogrphs from
any angle, technique, performance, presentation and
appearance"; has put NSM level with the main
competitor in Australia.
